The second half followed the same pattern but on the hour the visitors converted a hotly disputed penalty to take the lead. As a result of the penalty Rob Reardon was dismissed and Borden were down to ten men Before they could reorganise Kennington added a second and the villagers were on the back foot. They then had to push men forward which leaving gaps at the back which Kennington exploited and from breakaways added two more . In added time, they scored a fifth giving them a comprehensive win and a rather flattering score line.
