Borden easily overcame their opponents with a convincing win over Pembury Utd who are currently languishing at the foot of the table Straight from the kick off Borden took control launching a number of attacks and putting the visitors on the back foot They were rewarded after 9 mins when Lee Marsh found time and space in the box to search out Nicky Fuller who side footed home. Ten minutes later they added another when Marsh battled his way through and with a fine drive from the edge of the box found the bottom corner. Five minutes before the break Borden were awarded a corner and from the resultant kick Marsh headed down to Michael Rose who hooked the ball in from 6 yards. Following the break it was the visitors who pressed hard to reduce the arrears and were rewarded after ten minutes when Borden for the second time over the Easter Weekend conceded a goal following a corner. Undeterred Borden set about adding to their tally and mid way through the half virtually killed off any hopes that the opposition may have had with a fourth when Jay Law found Marsh who coolly clipped the ball over the advancing keeper for his second. With 5 mins remaining substitute Adam Roxborough completed the rout when he fastened on to a ball from Phil Jackson and steered his shot wide of the keeper give Borden a resounding victory and a four point haul over the Easter weekend.
